Child and adolescent psychiatrist, child psychotherapist

At Dr.Zhyvago clinic, we consult children and teenagers from 1.5 to 18 years old in Kyiv and online. We also work with parents and family members when their involvement helps diagnosis, treatment, and daily support.

When to seek help

  • anxiety, panic attacks, fears, obsessive thoughts, or compulsive behavior;
  • depressive symptoms, low motivation, isolation, irritability, or loss of interest;
  • attention deficit, hyperactivity, learning difficulties, or behavioral issues;
  • autism spectrum symptoms or speech and developmental concerns;
  • sleep disorders, tics, enuresis, eating difficulties, or psychosomatic complaints;
  • self-harm, bullying consequences, family conflict, or crisis situations.

How the consultation works

During the first appointment, the specialist collects medical and developmental history, clarifies current symptoms, reviews previous treatment if any, and recommends the next diagnostic or therapeutic steps. For younger children, parents may be asked to provide videos of behavior in a familiar environment when this helps assessment.

The goal is to understand what is happening without pressure or stigma and to choose care that is realistic for the child and family.

What we can help with

  • psychiatric diagnosis and treatment planning;
  • psychotherapy and psychological support for children and adolescents;
  • recommendations for parents and family communication;
  • support for school adaptation, social difficulties, and emotional regulation;
  • coordination of long-term follow-up when needed.

Important

Please note: we do not provide certificates for court, guardianship authorities, migration services, or similar institutions.

Why parents contact us

Individual approach. Each child is different, so the consultation plan is built around age, symptoms, family context, and the child's comfort.

In-person and online consultations. Appointments are available at the clinic in Kyiv and remotely when online care is appropriate.

Work with the family. Parents receive clear recommendations and can take part in the therapeutic process when this supports the child's progress.
